My kids don't really get the East...Great post! My kids don't really get the Easter Bunny. Probably because I never have either. Growing up in the Australian countryside I was indoctrinated to dislike rabbits. In fact, it bewilders me to hear so many Australians speaking fondly of a rabbit... I loved hearing about how my Uncles and Grandpa used to go rabbit hunting and I never really bonded with the rabbit that I had as a 10 year old.
